Mike Stover gave the message Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the absence of vacationing Rev Patricia. Mike challenged the congregation to live in the present, rather than in the past or future. Our guest speaker next Sunday will be Barbara Phillips. Rev Patricia will return to the pulpit October 19.
We worshiped outdoors at the picnic shelter on September 28, 2025. Skies cleared, fog lifted, birds were singing, as temperatures warmed into the 70s. Rev Patricia's message was on "Storing up Treasures or Taking up Space." This was our last planned outdoor worship for 2025.
The Crusader is available on Facebook and the church website. Paper copies of the Crusader are available for pickup in the church narthex. And copies are being delivered to church members unable to attend worship and with no access to the internet. Mt Clinton UMC had its outside Worship on Sunday, June 29th. Rev Patricia gave a sermon on "Are you a Wanna-bee?, asking the listeners to decide how well they will follow Christ in their walk of faith. After the worship service, everyone enjoyed hot dogs prepared by Mike S. and a potluck meal. YUM! Our next Worship outside at the picnic shelter will be held on July 20th.
