The fall Crusader is now available for reading. Rev Patricia shares some words of inspiration and lists upcoming events for our church community. The Evangelism Committee has provided an article on how to be a part of our church in the future. Vickie Rawley gives us an update on the Prayer Shawl Ministry and has included a list of greeters for the remainder of the year. Judy Hartman gives us an update on the West Rockingham Food Pantry and the Samaritan's Purse Shoeboxes. There is a Charge Conference schedule. There is information about the Shenandoah Valley Emmaus Community. Plus, Donnie Ritchie has provided a church financial update.
The Crusader is available on the church website under NEWS - SPECIALS - MEMORIALS. (On the church website you will also find video, audio, and bulletins from the most recent worship services, memorial service audio and bulletins, suggested Bible readings, the District Newsletter, the Advocate, UM News, Devotionals from Tommy Herndon, and other informative publications). Paper copies of the Crusader are available for pickup in the church narthex. And copies are being delivered to church members unable to attend worship and with no access to the internet. If you are aware of someone who would like to receive a Crusader and has been unable to obtain one, please let Kathy or Charles know. Thanks to all who contribute to the newsletter, and to Donna Jo for her publishing skills. DJ's dedication is much appreciated!
